Project Manager (Portugal)
Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee key pharmaceutical projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage pharmaceutical projects (e.g., drug development, regulatory submissions, new process equipment, product launches) ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Commercial, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, QA/QC) to ensure seamless execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Commercial, R&D, Regulatory Affairs.
- Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA/ICH guidelines, GMP, GACP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Communicate project status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
- Manage contracts, vendors, Clients and external partners (CROs, CMOs, etc.).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy
- Experience: 5+ years in project management within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Chemical or Food Industries
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Notion, Asana, etc.)
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GxP, ICH, and regulatory submission processes
- Soft Skills: Final results driven mentality, Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Languages: English is mandatory
